TRANSFORMING MYSELF (PART THREE): MY GIFT WILL MAKE ROOM FOR ME!

TRANSFORMING MYSELF (PART THREE): MY GIFT WILL MAKE ROOM FOR ME!

ALL of God’s remnant people should be aspiring to become- persons of impact! Persons who make a difference in their world and leave their world a little bit better than they found it! Persons who aspire to change the world with love! In the title video above, the late Pastor Munroe explains the importance of:

  • the purpose of your gift
  • finding your gift
  • using your gift

Welcome to part three of this five-part personal transformation series! In comparison to parts one and two, in today’s post, Pastor Myles Munroe will give our discussions on personal transformation a Bible-based perspective!

As you will recall, in part one of this series, James Clear introduced us to the most effective way to bring about behaviour and identity change. In part two, Marcus Buckingham built on this knowledge and introduced us to the concept of discovering our personal strengths.

James taught us how we can improve ourselves. Marcus taught us which part of ourselves deserve the most attention. Do you remember his advice? Spend your energy on developing your natural strengths. Don’t waste your valuable time and energy on trying to improve your weaknesses!

By the way, the parts of us that are labelled as ‘strengths’ in the secular world are actually called ‘gifts’ in the Old Testament! Do you remember Proverbs 18:16 (KJV)?

A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

God has promised us that when we find and use our GIFT, we will be able to influence, impact and change our world! Check out this educational video from Pastor Munroe.

This second video clip was published by Pastor Munroe’s leadership and discipleship organisation- Munroe Global Incorporated. You probably noticed their great tag line at the beginning of their video:

‘Munroe Global Incorporated: transforming followers into leaders and leaders into agents of change!’

I love this tagline! It is EXACTLY how I feel called to assist in building the kingdom of God here on earth (Matthew 6:10).

This five-part series on personal transformation answers these questions:

  • Is a focus on self-improvement important for God’s remnant people?
  • Do we actually have an obligation and a duty to ‘be better’ and to ‘do better’?
  • And if self-improvement is important, then what is the best way (i.e. the most effective and most efficient way) for us to make these changes?

I believe that this personal transformation series will empower you to find and develop the best version of yourself! It will help you on your discipleship journey as you seek to contribute towards building the kingdom of God.

In the fifth and final week of this series, I will be examining the relationship between our personal transformation efforts and Christ’s core message. Remember, the Apostolic Scriptures highlight Christ’s core message- the gospel of the kingdom. This message is ignored in the Pauline writings.

HARVEST TIME Prophecies’ is the blog post site of TNG Academy. Our blog post site gets its name from Matthew 13:30- i.e. the separation of wheat and tares that will occur at harvest time (i.e. the endtimes). Remember, the ‘wheat’ symbolises Godly things and the ‘tares’ symbolise things of the devil.

This blog asks the question: what would our faith look like today IF we had embraced the New Testament words of Christ’s Apostles (i.e. the wheat) and eliminated all others words (i.e. the tares)? In the New Testament Books written by Matthew, John, James, Peter and Jude (five of Christ's named Apostles, Matthew 10:1-4), you will see that love, social justice and the worship of God (YHWH) are prioritised. This is Restoration Christianity 2.0!

The purpose of this blog is twofold. Firstly, the posts are written to encourage a deeper understanding of the meaning of Christ’s core message- i.e. the ‘gospel of the kingdom’. Secondly, the posts are written to empower you on your personal discipleship journey. In this regard, I hope that the posts improve your understanding of God’s expectations of us. I hope that these posts empower you on your journey of ‘becoming’ so that you can impact and change your world! Lastly, I especially hope that seminary and divinity school students take note of these posts and grapple with the concepts and consequences of ‘Restoration Christianity 2.0!’.

Visit our website- WWW.TNGACADEMY.ORG, to get copies of our Bible study books. Which books would I recommend for you to read first? Start with these three-

If you enjoy these posts, please share and help others get prepared for harvest time too!
