TRANSFORMING MYSELF (PART ONE): ATOMIC HABITS
TRANSFORMING MYSELF (PART ONE): ATOMIC HABITS
It’s January- the first month of the year! It’s the time of the year when we are all trying to figure out how we are going to accomplish our New Year’s resolutions!
Did you know that almost all of our New Year’s resolutions are focused on our efforts to become BETTER people? Have you ever asked yourself WHY? And, have you ever asked yourself if this focus on self-improvement is important for God’s remnant people? Do we actually have an obligation and a duty to be better and do better?
You know, committing yourself to the hard work of becoming the BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF is not easy! It takes real effort and dedication in order to see improvement!
So if you want to improve, what is the best way (i.e. the most effective and most efficient way) to achieve this change? The answer to this question is what this series is all about.
In this five-part series, I will be introducing four different books and their authors to you. I promise you, the concepts in each of these books are phenomenal! Each week, listen as the author explains their unique perspective on the ‘how to’ of self-improvement. What I love about each of these authors is that they don’t just limit themselves to theory only. No! Each one of them provides you with practical tips that you can adopt into your life immediately.
I have found that these four approaches to self-improvement are complimentary. They work well together. Moreover, when you combine them and use them simultaneously, a powerful process of personal transformation begins to take place within you! If the concepts in these four books resonate with you, then please add a copy of each of them to your home library.
By the way, these authors are writing for the general public. Their audience is made up of secular and faith-filled people. Please focus on their core message and ignore their secularisms (kid, kids, evolution, etc).
In the fifth and final week, I will examine the relationship between self-improvement and Christ’s core message- the gospel of the kingdom.
So join me as we begin our transformation series by introducing the concepts in James Clear’s bestselling book- ATOMIC HABITS. Please watch the video clip above.

‘HARVEST TIME Prophecies’ is the blog post site of TNG Academy. Our blog post site gets its name from Matthew 13:30- i.e. the separation of wheat and tares that will occur at harvest time (i.e. the endtimes). Remember, the ‘wheat’ symbolises Godly things and the ‘tares’ symbolise things of the devil.
The purpose of these blog posts is twofold. Firstly, they are written to encourage more focus on Christ’s core message- i.e. the ‘gospel of the kingdom’. And second, they are written as an aid for our discipleship journey- i.e. improving our understanding of God’s expectations of us. I hope, these posts assist you on your journey of ‘becoming’!
Visit our website- WWW.TNGACADEMY.ORG, to get copies of our Bible study books. Which books would I recommend for you to read first? Start with these three-
- WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD?
- MENE MENE TEKEL UPHARSIN!
- THE APOSTOLIC SCRIPTURES.
If you enjoy these posts, please share and help others get prepared for harvest time too!
